QR CODES & PASSPORTS
One label. A passport you can maintain.
A QR code is the route to a product passport, not the passport itself. Made IQ keeps that destination stable while your team reviews and republishes approved product information.
Explore a passport previewKeep the product identity clear
Every published product passport has its own public identifier and QR destination. Print the label for the intended product only after checking the product name, article reference and public preview.
Reprinting a replacement label can reuse that same destination. Printing a different product’s QR for the same article would create confusion and should be prevented by the review workflow.
Update information, not the printed code
If composition, evidence or calculated information improves, authorised users can review and publish a new version at the existing destination. A printed code does not need to change simply because the passport content is updated.
Removing a public passport can make its QR destination unavailable. Imported source files and published passports therefore have separate management controls.
Show only what is ready
A public passport can display product facts and supported impact results. A production subtotal is labelled as such; it is not presented as a full lifecycle result when transport, use or end of life are outside the calculation scope.
Private buying sheets, quantities and internal review information do not appear on the public page by default.
What about EU requirements?
A QR code alone does not establish conformity with any future product-specific Digital Product Passport rules. Required identifiers, data and access conditions depend on the applicable EU measures. Made IQ supports a controlled product-data and publication workflow while those requirements are assessed separately.
See the label and the destination together.
Bring a representative product. We can walk through its source record, passport preview and QR output.
